I have been troubleshooting an idle surge problem for my 85 GSL-SE. I've read David Lane's article and many of the threads on the problem. Several refer to "Mitchell Manual (1984 RX-7 full manual, pg 240-241) Technical Service Bulletin". I can't find this at iluvmyrx7.com.---(very confusing, nothing from the site search).
