Headlight stuck...help!
My sister's 1987 RX's headlight is stuck halfway up. The right headlight works fine, but she said that she turned the lights on one evening and heard a pop, and that was the last of it opening and closing.
What should I try to figure out what is causing the problem? Thanks in advance for your help!

From underneath the car, take a look directly in front of the wheel well. There will be a white **** surrounded by black plastic. The **** can be used to manually raise/lower the light.
As far as tracking down what caused the problem, first check the retractor fuse in the under dash fuse box. Download a copy of the 2nd gen factory service manual (stickied at the top of this forum), and take a look at section 15 "Body Electrical" pages 44 & 45. There's troubleshooting information for the headlights.
