Hi,
I was just curious as to the degree of difficulty on installing a header on my RX. Mine is an 85 GS, I just rebuilt the carb and she is running sweet and now wanna slap the header on. On the directions I got with the header it says you have to remove the carb in order to get the header in. When I look down though it seems it should be easy enough to take off the Thermal reactor. Anyhow, just curious as to how any of you guys did the install. Thanks

 

You can take off the cast iron manifold without needing to remove the carb or intake.
