Now since verts are rare... so are the tail lights.... So after looking around is it possible to replace the whole tail light assembly with coupe tails and tag mount?
If so, i know i wont beable to unlock the trunk from the outside anymore, doesnt bother me much.

I wouldn't call convertibles rare. In '88 and '89 a ton of them were made, which tapered down some by 1991. Anyway, yes, you can replace all 3 pieces with the coupe versions. You will lose key access, so if your trunk release ever fails, you're SOL.
