CO Good sounding exhaust

Hey guys, I was wondering what would be a good exhaust set up with cats still intact with a nice tone? Not interested in some river high pitch riced sound. My previous Fc was a 86 and I didn't what was on it but it had a nice and low tone to it. Looked like stock but it wasn't

From my experience on piston engines, the bigger and longer your resonator/glasspack was the more high frequency sound was absorbed.

Having said that though, I've read that rotaries will tear through convention glasspacks in a matter of minutes due to the high heat and strong pulses.
A lot of people have suggested the racing beat per-silencer....

There was also a thread of somebody making his own out of perforated steel and high temperature fiberglass iirc.

Coarse steel wool was the material used.

Cheers!

Thanks you all!

Plastic: yea I was reading up on it cause I had a fc previously. Cherrybomb and yes some of the modern stuff can't handle the heat from the rotaries. Got to be specific

Sm3: yea I was thinking about looking at those two but havent found any YouTube clips of either on a fc

Some people may disagree with me, but I love the sound of the HKS Superdragger. I had the same setup on my DSM and it sounded great.
