GA Good Rotary mechanic in GA?

Just rebought my 83 LE after a 25 year vacation from it....right now other than the carb I think its ok mechanically, but i am not familiar enough with the Rotary to do much on it (I am an old V8 Chevy guy) and was wondering if something happened and I had to have motor work done, does anybody know of a good shop that works on rotarys? Figured I would find out now rather than later. I am located in central GA between Atlanta and Macon. Thanks!

Are you still working on 1st Gen rotary? Not far from you and needing someone to do a few things on mine.

welcome to the board.

the bad news: you may not get a response from him since as of a few seconds ago, his profile said he hasn't logged in since 11/2016.

the good news: you check out the Regional forum that covers GA, and possibly hook up with someone that can help you out. you might also look around the Gen 1 forum as well, there are quite a few members that i can think of offhand, that might have helpful info for you.
