NJ the good , bad , AND THE ugly!!!

I was just talking to the engine builder but was kinda hard to compute so im looking for knowledge!!! i have a bridgeport overlap WTF im completely confused wats the overlao ablout and wats the effects it has on the engine? Also any type of breakin info would be much helpfull im afraid i might have damaged componentsor maybe NOT the car has not been driven but daily warmed up in my garage until i can put her in the street $$$.. but i have given her some hard revs (HARD REVS) during my warm ups while in the garage... MAINLY to see if she burned alot of iol or not. Is it poosible damage might have began due to the heavy reving or how or wat to look for if so??? i will take it easy for noww at least till she breaks in... HIT ME UP all input is knowledge FACTS NEEDED!!!!

Breakin for Rotary is a period of 1000 miles, keep under 4500 rpm synthetic and mineral oil BOTH fine for break in. synthetic is recomended for day to day. change every 2-3k miles but that is dependaing on you and how you use your car. oil brand does matter as Castrol uses a poorer grade base oil than Mobil 1, Yes even catrol syntec usas a lower grade base. Nothing beats Mobil1. I know becasue my cousin is an oil distributor and sees first hand tests and documents on how all the oils are made and what they use to make them.
