I have a Hinson Super Car's swapped FD and my gauge's seem to cut in and out sometimes. For the most part the rpm gauge works but sometimes cuts out. The speedo does the same. Oil pressure never works. I recently had my car on the dyno and it seems that my rmp are over 1300 the whole time on my gauges which makes sense cause the car idols at 2000 but clearly isn't. If anybody has any solutions I would be up to hear them. I think its lose wires, but I have no clue about electrical. Thanks

 

Not sure if you have a stock set of gauges or not. Often the stock tack acts up due to failure of the soldering on the circuit board behind the gauges. The needle will begin to jump around. In my case the problem was solved by my local shop refreshing the soldering. This could be the issue for the speedo as well. Of course be careful removing the cluster hood and face as they often shatter if you are not extremely careful.
