hey, newb question. What octane gas is best for my 87 turbo II? I looked all over but could not find a straight answer. I ran 91 in it so far, but with gas prices rising I'm wondering if its safe to go lower....

Factory spec is '87.
If you have increased the boost a little, go with '89. Or '89 if the car is old, out of tune, etc. '91 is necessary really only when the car is highly modded.
