Fuel tank leaks...

My gas tank is leaking and it looks like it would be more trouble than it's worth stripping it down and repairing it... especially since I suspect it is leaking at the seam where the straps go around it... Does anyone know where I can get a new or re-conditioned fuel tank for a 1988 RX7 convertible...

Thanks
Winston

Bring the car by a local tank repair place. It is surprisingly inexpensive to have them repaired.

Failing that, Mazda or any auto parts store will have a replacement.

I say just weld it closed while the tank is full of gas in the car.

Seriously though, any junkyard typically has an FC or 2 on the lot so you can always just grab one there.
