Fuel sending unit ground question
Does the 1995 FD sending unit use the same ground as the fuel pump? Or is one of the other wires coming out of the fuel tank harness the sending units ground?

One thing, Alldata offers a DIY subscription service. It's about 15 bucks for your car and it will allow access to information about your car for 1 year. The system is not great but it helped me figure out some wiring issues with a 1985 Audi 4000s I own.
