Fuel pump and stock
I have an 86 rx-7 parts car, and a 88 vert that I drive. I believe the stock on my 88 is bad cuz when I turn left at high speeds it cuts out. I was wondering if the fuel pump and stock on the 86 can go on the 88. also what does Stock mean. I am new and I can't figure it out.

Hmmm, not sure about your main question but I will take a stab at the stock part.
Im thinking that the word you are looking for could be STALK which would be the feed tube for the pump (fuel pump pickup tube) OR it could be SOCK which is kind of like a screen that goes around the base of the fuel pump pickup tube that acts as a sort of pre-filter.

From the FAQ at the top of this section.
My engine cuts out when turning, but there is plenty of gas... whats wrong?
Fuel tank sock is dirty and needs to be cleaned or replaced, and or the baffles in the fuel tank are rusted away.
