AZ fuel pump resistor

i have installed another power brake booster(still need to adjustthe pedal freeplay and bleed the sys.) my check engine light throws code 51(fuel pump resistor relay) if this is bad could that be the reason when driving and slowing to a stop, depress the clutch and the rpms drop to ~500rpm(will die everyonce in a blue moon. ive replaced TPS, BAC, TB, AWS, various gaskets, vacumm lines, and now brake booster. at the moment i have the decel dashpot removed, could this be the reson.

Possibly. The resistor relay switches pump voltage between 9V and roughly 12V, so it does affect fuel. It's intended to reduce fuel delivery at idle and low-load.
