fuel pump filter/sleeve? 79 rx7

I am just wondering if there is a sleeve or filter on the fuel pump its self?

never owned an SA, but my guess is it's basically the same setup as the FB. i don't know what you mean by "sleeve", but there is/was no filter physically attached to the pump. the filter is physically near it though. as far as i know, there is a filter in the tank as well.
