Fuel Pressure and Temperature

whats up guys

i have a 87 rx7 and have a little issue

my fuel pressure gauge and temperature gauges arent working.

when i start the car they will work but will eventually stop working within like 3 mins.

the same thing happened to the RPM gauge but it seems to be working fine now.

I took out the whole HUD display and checked for loose wiring but didnt find anything.

Any ideas what could be the issue?

Thanks

There is no stock fuel pressure gauge, and the only temperature gauge is the water temp. Are you talking about aftermarket gauges? If so, you need to track down where they were connected to the existing wiring. The fact that it's intermittent points to a loose connection, so check the sensor wiring and the power/ground connections for the gauges.

I'm sorry I made a mistake I meant the oil pressure gauge and the stock temperature gauge the ones above the fuel and battery voltage gauges

Do they both stop working at the exact same time? I would still check the connections at the senders. Both the oil pressure and water temp senders are located on the rear iron below the oil filter. You can also check that there are no wires backing out of the plugs on the back of the cluster. With as much force as it takes to wiggle those things off, sometimes the connector can loosen up.
