I tried searching this before posting honestly couldn't find anything I have a feeling I'm going to be so mad that I didn't think about the solution once I got it but for now I need some help. So I have an 85 gsl 12A and having some fuel issues. so the car was running low on gas so I turned it off I put more gas in the tank but now I have no fuel coming to the carb... I have a brand new holley fuel pump on there and a FPR everything was working perfect but now nothing?

 

Well, if you put a fuel pressure regulator on a carburetor car, you've done something terribly wrong.

I'm going to assume you meant relay.

Anyway, make sure the pump is primed, has power, make sure there's fuel in the tank (someone may have siphoned the tank), and that the fuel filters are good.

You should have enough pressure to squirt fuel when you put your thumb over the line and enough flow to fill a liter bottle in less than a minute.

 

I put a fuel pressure regulator on my car because the pump that i bought put out more than my car takes... The regulator was working perfectly fine Ive had it since november. I don't have a fuel filter and how do I prime it ?

 

ok i figured it out thanks ! Btw the fpr actually works great for me. why do you say its a mistake?
