Anything is possible, especially if you didn't replace the gasket with new. Again, a vacuum line could also have split or not been seated properly during removal/replacement. Leave no stone unturned.

Keep in mind when dealing with air flow meters that you also need to check for metered air leaks as any air entering after the meter, vacuum or not will cause problems.

A smoke leak detection machine is very helpful in finding both metered air leaks and vacuum leaks.

Rechecked vacuum lines for any obvious cracks, replaced intake gasket, was not able to get my hands on a volt meeter. Car still starts and dies. Is there anyone in the Tulsa/ broken arrow area that could lend a hand ???????
This car has me very angry. I can't afford to keep spending money on it just to end up right back where I started.
