Fuel and idle issue
Hey first post on this forum my name is Hunter. I have an 88 RX7 turbo 2. first off I would like to say this is not my first boosted car I build them as part of my living I tune cars as well.
I'm premixing for starters
I'm stumbling at idle with a sometime jumping idling
I'm running so rich its burning my eyes and idle burns my eyes no wideband though
there is no vac leak I can detect I've rebuilt it from the manifold up to check for leaks and I'm holding a steady -15 on the boost gauge at idle
Injectors have been checked out
Rich plugs
I'm not a rotary tech but I do know boosted engines I'm not sure what I'm missing here. Thanks guys

welcome to the board.
i'm not saying something is NOT wrong, but since you're admitting to being new to rotaries, i think it would be best if i start off by letting you know rotaries run ridiculously rich compared to their reciprocating peers.
that said, my first two questions would be to check and see if (1) you still have the cat in place and (2) if you're still running the stock injectors and pump.
there should be a description of what the OEM injectors look like in the FAQ thread and hopefully Misterstyx69, Aaron Cake (or someone else more intimately familiar with Gen IIs) can help you out deciphering what pump you have.
what plugs are you running?
