Fortune Auto Coilovers
For Heavy track use, I was recommended the fortune auto coilovers (I believe there is only the 510 Coilover available for the FC).
1.)
I am looking to get some feedback on these coils, as I am especially curious as to what spring rates I should be ordering them with. I will be installing my bridgeported 13b-rew shortly, and will be aiming for 500 ish hp, running 18x10 all around. if you need any other information regarding helping me recommend a spring rate lmk. Looking to be tracking at Buttonwillow.
2.)
Or, if you would recommend a Track Coil over that is said to be better.
Thanks in advance.

I was debating heavily between the fortune autos and the BC Racing Coils and for the most part they seemed to be pretty even, but in the end I ended up going with the BC Racing 8K/6K (they also offer 12/10). After a bunch of autocross/drift/tracking (including Laguna Seca) I have absolutely no regrets about the decision. They ride extremely well, stiff but still comfortable and are infinitely way better than the stock suspension. Plus they have a killer warranty should they pop. 11/10 would recommend.

Okay, which coil overs are people raving about these days (2016)? Ive heard lots of word on Fortune Auto and Ohlins, and are there any contenders. If someone could give me some feed back on which coil overs they got and why, that would be awesome

There are definitely a few contenders! Zeal makes some great coilovers as well but I haven't heard of them being better or worse than Ohlins. I have however heard the ohlins are a bit more comfortable on the street. As for other contenders, there's Tein, which isn't so great. There's also KW coilovers which are good but I wouldn't recommend them over Ohlins, ever. I had so KW's on my e46 m3 and honestly they seemed equal to the BC coilovers I had on my 05 STI. Both good coilovers, but nothing spectacular like the Ohlins. I'm gonna add a link to a pretty nice FD running the Ohlins FDV thru the canyons. Matt Farrah (the smoking tire host) seemed very fond of them. Usually the only reason anyone gets coilovers that aren't Ohlins, Penske's, Zeals, etc. is to save some dough.

Hope that all helps a bit

Those high end "tuner" manufacturers don't make suspension for the FC anymore.
You can probably get full race spec suspension still as companies like Penske, Moton-AST, JRZ etc are usually happy to design a suspension system for any chassis for enough $.
On a budget (under $10,000) you can make your own suspension or go with the low-end "tuner" manufacturers with parts out of Korea and China.
Of those Fortune is probably the best choice since they might be using the same low-end parts as all the others, but at least they are assembled and tuned by a small shop in the US that is involved in racing.
This lack of high end components for the FC is one reason I parted mine out and am racing my RX-8 and FD now. I don't want to keep spending my time making/repairing parts for the FC, I want to learn to drive now.

Fortune Auto has awesome customer service, I used to work for a dealer of them and if I needed more info or wanted to know what they recommend they had someone that could help. Another recommendation would be FEAL Suspension, I'm not certain they carriy FC products but they are also very knowledgeable for dampening and spring rates.

I had Stance XRs on my FC.
Very low quality Korean materials, parts and finish, but I was quite happy with their performance once I machined their front top hat and spindle mounts so I could get *any* negative camber.
The e-coat came off the few aluminum parts and the steel front/rear lower mounts rusted under the paint. I don't have any complaints about the actual dampers.
I had two sets of JIC coilovers before the Stance and though the materials, parts and finish were excellent the damping was poor on the FLT-A2s and thought the damping was good on the FLT-TARs the rear did not have nearly enough stroke.
I drove an FC with the Fortune coilovers hard and very much liked them and they looked like pretty good quality pieces.
Ps&Qs
for extensive track use?
For extended track use make sure whatever you get is rebuildable and in a timely fashion. You will probably end up with 2 sets so you can run 1 set while the other is being rebuilt.
