Floor pan question
I plan on a recent project on my 93 to sandblast rust and redo the insulation and carpet, but in my floor pan i have a metal bar that runs from the back to the front of the floor pan on each side. It's about 2 inches high and 3 inches wide. My question is whether this is normal or not, because i see the carpet being a problem to redo if this is normal, if not what was this used for previously? The floor was bare when i got it so i have no idea and can't seem to find a good picture of a OEM one. Thanks Sot.
