Fixing a horn relay

The horn in my 87 turbo stopped working the other day. Every once and awhile I could hear the relay pick up. The relay is in the black box under the kick panel by the drivers left foot. It has the flashers and turn signal relays also. The horn relay is mounted on the big board not one of the two smaller boards. I removed the box, took of the back and pushed out the board. I cleaned the relay with sand paper but the key was resoldering the relay connections to the board. Just apply heat until the solder melts and then get off to prevent damage. Test it prior to reinstall to prevent more pain. Horn now works like a champ. I also had to resolder the warning light panel since the clock was going dim and bring at times. That now works perfectly also. Hope this helps someone. I also have the wiper relays on order and will let you know how that goes.
