Fixing coolant seal wall on 6 port

Has anybody succeeded in rebuilding the small wall (that always breaks and is the cause of blown seals) that holds the coolant seal? just want to see if there is a way to fix them besides welding and grinding a new one.

I'm not a builder, but I think most will tell you it's junk. Welding cast iron is tricky at best. If you get a weld to stick it's going to be warped somewhere else.

Not fixable. Try and source a used iron.
