So I'm a Supraman at heart, but ALWAYS wanted and FC or FD. Since the NEW BMW Supra wasn't my cup of tea, I bought my son and I both 93 FDs.
Mine is a touring his an R1. Both red.

I'm in Port Hueneme Cali helping him get his running after a bad battery did something to his fuel system. I got it running again, but ONLY if you jump the FP in the Diag box. Here's a list of his mods and what I've checked.

1. PFC with downpipe.
2. Racing Beat cat back.
3. new plugs and battery.
4. stock alarm

Things I've checked:
1. Fuel pump relay (pressure relay). Near bumper
2. resistor under MC. car runs with it, shuts off when i unplug it
3. Green Circuit relay. Works. but only when the jumper in diag is used.
4. new fuel pump, i checked old one and it was good.
5. alarm relay, i unplugged it and car shuts off and won't start.
6. replaced corroded fuses.

Mind you it was running GREAT until the battery died. Put in new battery crank ,no start. New plugs and battery and it runs now...IF i use that jumper.

I've searched here for 2 days and can't figure it out. Do I need to rewire the fuel pump relay(green circuit relay) ?
I'd rather not continue to use the jumper method.

Check the earths from the battery but sounds like it could be the alarm system playing up and the jumper is by passing the alarm.
