CA First post...long time member with a question.

Will I fit in a FD with a Recaro SPG? I'm 6'4" and have long legs.

It depends. FD is tight for tall guys like you. Best thing you can do is check the West section for local meets and see if you can sit in somebody's car to try and judge.

There are some threads in the interior/exterior section about race seats and fitment. There are also various threads in the 3rd gen section where other tall guys have chimed in about fitment.

You'll just have to sit in it. Aftermarket seats do help a lot but everyone has different proportions.

What you can do before traveling is check the waist size to make sure you'll fit in width-wise.

Yea I was going to do that. I am trying to by an auto-x prepped XP car this off season and curious if I would fit. The car is in colorado and I am in Cali, so its not really possible for me to sit in THE car before I actually see it and hopefully pick it up. I'll move to the regional section and see what I can get. I am worried mostly about headroom with the helmet on.
