can i use an auto dizzy on a manual transmission 12a? and my 13b doesnt have a dizzy, i bought it like that, so i was wondering if i could do the same thing to the 12a and remove the distributor? any help would be deeply apretiated cuz 12a dizzys new are 400 dollars. so ya ha

 

Distributors are the same between 13B and 12A, Auto and Manual on first gen RX-7s.

The 2nd gen 13B does not have a distributor.

 

alright can i remove the distributor on a 79 model 12a?

 

the 79-80 dizzys have points, 81-85 have electronic and much better to use. except for this, all dizzys r the same whether 12a or 13b, auto or manual tranny.
