finding internal water leak
I have a Turbo II heavily modified RX7 I bought on Ebay this winter. It was from El Paso Texas where it was warm, and I had it shipped to Tennessee where we have had an unseasonably cold winter with a 2 week stretch in the 10-20 degree range.
It is a 'mad max' style car, so while it seems sound - it is definately not pretty.
This spring I finally got it unflooded, fired up and running nicely. The radiator was nearly empty so I filled it up.
When I checked the dipstick - milkshake. The radiator was nearly empty again.
I pulled the front cover while in the car, and looked at the front freeze plugs. They look OK.
I then poured water down the two large D shaped water pump holes on the front/top of the engine. Water immediately drained out the oil pan almost instantly.
My next guess is either cracked block or rear freeze plugs?
Any other guesses? I guess the engine has to come out. It was rebuilt last year - is it salvageable if it is just freeze plugs?
Any ideas would be appreciated - Thanks!

Engine is Toast.
The only way you can find out what the damage is,Is if you take the engine apart.
Don't start buying parts until you see what you can re-use or salvage. It's a waste of money to get parts and not use them.right???
