NJ finally on the raod

so i have a 90 gtu just put a new clutch in and i got it on the road needs some work tho bout to rebuild my front end almost entirely new springs struts etc but im tryin to plan out what to do about my engine im really into keeping it na, i think my port actuators are frozen, and im curious about porting and i see people removing their air pumps when they do port work so does that mean they are running with the 5th and 6th ports wide open?i really just wanna know a basic set up for a street port or a bridgeport, i wanna keep the car a street car but i wanna get at least 200 rwhp. any ideas or a point in the right direction would be helpfull

No, don't remove the air pump. That's the last thing you want to do on an S5 NA. The ECU controls 2 solenoids, which direct air pump air to activate the VDI and 6PI systems. Take it off and you get about -40hp. And wiring the aux. ports or VDI open is just pointless.
