FD3S No Spark to Leading Plugs

FD3S No Spark to Leading Plugs
Hey Guys,
Recently Imported a FD3S from Japan. Bought the car not running. Have been trying to diagnose the issue. Has compression, Has fuel. but just cranks over and over. Checked for spark today. And found that it had strong spark from the Trailing plugs. But no spark from the Leading. Just wanted to check that, Both spark plugs are ment to spark on crank?

welcome to the board. 
yes they should both be firing. you mentioned the car is new to you and i'll assume since you mentioned compression that you had it tested, so my first question is did you also tune it up?
did you check for spark at the plugs or the coils?
