FD3s critical suspension components?

Just done my big single turbo conversion on the engine. Would like to know what are the critical suspension components I will have to have a look at. Inco. strut bars, braces, mountings etc. Car wont be used for racing just the occasional street dice and drag. Running 18" mags and tyres with lowered suspension.

Motor mounts and diff bushings. Probably a diff brace would be smart since you're probably putting down bigger torque. Fresh gear oil in the diff.

Definitely consider replacing the toe links/bushings, trailing arm front bushings, and pillowballs. Those are the heavily loaded parts in the suspension.

So I am right in saying 1st thing to look at is changing all rubber bushing to Polyeurothane type. Which is a easy and inexpensive way to start, as I will remove all the rubber ones and take them in and they manufacture new ones using them as the base to work from. Problem comes in with arms and links, they are difficult to get hold of in South Africa. Will the bushing do the job. Also what diff oil do I use, no manufacturers manual came with the car.

Since you are now transmitting much more power, put in poly differential bushings, poly motor mounts, and an aftermarket differential brace. Replace the gear oil with a premium synthetic 75w-90, GL-5 specification. Not sure what brands are available in S.A. Get the diff internals inspected for wear, as worn diff parts are much more likely to break under heavy load.

Pillowballs, both inner and outer toe link bushings, and the forward bushing of the trailing arms are common wear items. They won't affect power handling but you don't want to miss an opportunity to replace these if they need them.

There are yet other bushings but they don't take much load so I would only replace them if they are damaged.
