FD3S Automatic- help with wiring
Hi guys,
(I would have liked to post this in the 3rd Gen section, but users cant post in there unless your post count is above 20, so it looks like this has to go here instead)
I have a 92 FD. It is an automatic. I'm looking to find the Neutral Safety switch wire(s) in/ around the steering column, near the ignition switch.
Not sure what color they are, or what to look for in order to find them/it. The factory wiring diagrams show the wire, but not its physical location, nor its color. Basically the wiring diagrams are useless for actually pinpointing wires physically. They show the circuits pretty well, but not wire colors or actual layout...
Anyone? Could someone maybe ask the 3rd Gen guys?
Thankyou

Okay, I tried to locate the neutral safety switch wire today, and the answers provided on the forum 3rd Gen section are incorrect.
The wiring diagrams listed only work for US cars. Not all of us are in the USA, the majority of these cars were sold outside the US. My car is a genuine JDM RHD model. Just pointing people to US wiring diagrams is poor practice, as its a bit rich to assume that everyone on these boards is American..
Oh well. Rant over.

The only wiring info I could point you to is
www.foxed.ca which has just about every rx7 based manual/parts manual etc there.
It is however USA manuals. But If the manual shows color code in the wiring then I think you may get your answer.
Not much to go on but I hope it helps.
Good luck.
