FD Rx7 s8 Reservior bottle bubbling after shutdown
FD Rx7 s8 Reservior bottle bubbling after shutdown, I run it for five mins and shut it off and it bubbles like a kettle. I have replaced the thermostat and the problems still happens. Does this mean I have a blown seal and have to have it rebuilt?

Bad coolant seals have a whole separate set of symptoms. Bad coolant seals allow coolant to go into the rotor housings. You would have smoke with a unique smell, you would constantly have to top off your coolant, your car would also run like poo because of the coolant in with the rotors. Your oil would look like sludge and if you do the champagne test, your results will vary from small bubbles to a gyser. The list goes on. Engine failure is typically at the end of the troubleshooting tree, suspect it all you want but until you have evidence of it, worry not. Do the bleed and report back

To rule out coolant seals, you can do the champagne test (use the Lisle funnel and see if it constantly bubbles) and check your plugs for coolant. You can also do a leak down test on your cooling system.
If this is a new problem (i.e. you haven't done anything to your coolant system like change your coolant), than you may want to try these tests.
