FD question

Do any FDs come with backseats? If not, can you put them in yourself like a FC?

Never in the US, only in black and you also have to swap out all the rear plastics to accept the seatbelts, etc. Once it's done, your kid better be a legless midget, because that's all that'll fit back there.
I tossed the idea around for awhile, but the expense/work-to-payoff ratio just didn't make sense.

^What he said. You see the components come up occasionally on ebay (seats, plastics, belts etc.).Not only were they only in black, but IIRC only in black leather. They're usually a little pricey, especially with shipping. And as Natey said, they're so small they look silly. The bins aren't silly and have more utility. But if you swoon over things JDM go for it.

So jeff, I can only assume your friends are stuffed toys or we're talking about animal friends here.

Back seats, however, are MUCH more practical for storage than the bins. But they weigh a heap (about 20-25kg from memory) when you add up the all the clips, inertia reels, brackets etc etc.

FWIW, the above is an old quote from a member in Australia with a JDM FD in response to someone who claimed two people could fit back there.......
