Hi All,

Piecing together my new engine and am wondering if the exhaust studs/nuts for the manifold to engine and turbo manifold to exhaust manifold are reusable? I replaced most of it last year, and it wasn't cheap. I did a search, see quite a few folks saying to buy OEM or aftermarket, and only one person chimed in that they had reused the OEM pieces before.

If yours are only a year old and in otherwise good shape (no damage during disassembly) I'd reuse them. IIRC I messed up some years ago and had to reuse some of my hardware because I didn't order enough....and those were original. While I lucked out and have had no issues, I wouldn't do it again, but your aren't that old. I recommend chasing the holes and threads with a tap and die, and using plenty of hi-temp anti-seize though.
