Fc rain drainage

been working on an 86 fc with a sunroof recently, it originally came with a non working sunroof full of rust but all of that has been replaced. Been a little worried of water getting in the boot and the sunroof and creating more dramas. Anyway to prevent the water completely from getting in or are there other ideas?

If it was originally a sunroof car, there is already drain tubes for water that run down the a pillars. If it was as rusty as you say, take a hose and air and try and clean them out, i’m sure they are plugged
