I have an '87 GXL, the mufflers have rusted and the tips fell off. I'm considering doing just the Racing Beat mufflers, but I don't want something that will draw the wrong kind of attention or make my ears ring on the highway. The RB seems like what I'm looking for. If anyone has a similar setup on a na 13B, can you describe how loud it is?

 

It should be exactly what you are looking for. You will notice it almost stock levels down low but with a good tone and a little bit louder up top. I haven't used just the mufflers, but that's the jist of the full cat back and I would doubt it would be much different.
