FC LIM questions

Hi everyone, I've tried finding the exact answer I'm looking for to no avail. Maybe I am just a fool.

My NA engine was just rebuilt at Banzai, and the 6 port sleeves inside the engine have been removed. My questions are

-When putting my LIM back onto the engine, is there anything that needs to be done to the actuators, like wiring them open?

-With a full emissions delete, are there any other vacuum connections that come from the LIM that are needed?

-As I understand it, with no 6 Port actuators, I should be able to use the S5 Racing Beat system. With no connection to the headers, should I simply cap the vacuum connection from the LIM?

Thanks in advance, trying to be more knowledgeable everyday.

I am not sure why you would want to leave the sleeves out with the low end torque loss, a racing car maybe? You don't have to use back pressure actuated ones either. There have been some creative ideas on here to open them with an RPM reading circuit board and electric motors, among others.

I will give you a bump and hopefully the seasoned veterans will chime in. I am interested in the answer without the sleeves.

BTW, Banzai racing posts here and seems to be a very helpful and friendly. Since he built your engine, just drop him a call or an email and just him about it.

I figure I would post here with the answer I got.

When doing a full emissions delete and removal of the 6 port actuators, you can pretty much remove everything off the LIM.

From Banzai:

"You can remove everything from the LIM including the actuator and rods. If you remove the rods you need to drill and tap with 1/4npt plugs, that is only if you want to clean it up. Vacuum cap the split air pipe or weld it shut."

I just finished most of my LIM and UIM removal so, I am more familiar with this now.

Don't forget about the brake booster connection, you might need that. And also the oil injectors if you are using them.

Yup, it should be noted that this car is not going to use an OMP so those can be removed.
Now begins the fun of going through the rats nest and figuring out which three connections I need to keep.
