FB rotor bearing surface question

This is a rotor with the bearing removed. This is out of a '83 engine. I am wondering if I can just press a new bearing in with the scoring? Also it is hard to tell, but there is a small ridge just enough to grab your finger nail at one end. Should I sand it off? Is it OK to leave it on?

Thank you

I believe I answered my own question. It appears to be due to a spun rotor bearing. I purchased these rotors from a local seller and he did not mention this/I did not pay close enough attention when buying them.

I think my plan ahead is to measure and see how much material is missing and if it's marginal press in a new bearing with the aid of red lock tight to add a sense of security.
