NC FB or FC?

I'm thinking of purchasing a FB or FC here in the next month and was wondering which one would be better aftermarket wise and durability wise. I plan on using this car as a daily and drift car.

I've owned a Fc for 8 years and now have an '85 FB. If you want to drift i would have the FC because the handling and steering is much more positive.

I would suggest not using it for both a daily driver and drift car.

I like both cars, but the FC would be better for drifting, especially if you get one that is turbocharged.

However, I agree with the above post stating that it is a bad idea to use a drift car for a daily driver. The reasons are:
- Drift cars get damaged, which could leave you without transportation for a while.
- A good drift car will be lowered with very stiff coilovers, trick suspension pieces, and a 2-way LSD, all of which make the car tend to lose control on the road, especially in wet conditions.
- Drift alignment settings will cause the tires to wear quickly if you don't reset the suspension between events.
If you just want to keep the car fairly stock and drift for fun, then that will probably work OK just as long as you realize that you WILL wreck the car at some point.

What?!

I have an FC. I really really like my FC... But saying that there is nothing special about the FB is ridiculous.

FB3S and FC3S (FB/FC for short) correspond to the First Generation RX-7 and Second Generation RX-7 Respectively. FBs were made from '79-'85 and FCs were made from '86-'92
Also its important to note that there were 3 different FB cars, and 2 different FC's. We note them as being Series 1 - 5, or S1, S2, S3, S4, or S5.
