FB Engine swap VG30DETT
I want to put either a single or twin turbo VG30DE in my FB but i dont know if it will work. theres a kit for an fc on GRANNYSSPEEDSHOP.COM just wondering if i could use those on it. Thanks.
To start, any swap can work with the proper fabrication and know-how. That kit will not work on the FB, as you would need to modify the kit to work on the FB. An FC subframe can be made to work in the FB, but it requires work and all of the FC front suspension parts. There are threads on how to do that.
Secondly, you posted in the wrong section and this thread will likely get moved or deleted. Do some more research and look at the Engine Conversion subforum. There may be info there, but the swap you want to do is a bit out of the norm. Check Nissan forums and see what it takes to get a VG into an S13 or a 240Z. The engine bays are around the same size as an FC, but really this forum is geared toward rotary applications.
