i recently put a header on my FC and am running a pre silencer before the Y pipe. it is a RB header (race) and using the stock muffler setup... and it sounds like a Kazoo............ when you are starting and moving through the RPM range. it sound good when you are at level RPMs, but i hate the kazoo. any suggestions on a throaty muffler system?

 

RB mufflers will give you a deeper note.

 

ditch the presilencer!

 

Removing the presilencer would just make it worse (and louder). Presilencers remove some of the higher pitched sounds from the note.
