and on that exhaust note...
This may or may not be the proper place to ask an exhaust question but I'm sure a mod would be willing to correct my posting.
I'm the proud owner of a '87 TII. Very proud owner in fact.
I've owned my car for almost a year now and I keep getting tickets and such from the local PD due to my exhaust being to loud. Not to mention I cant even think of trying to carry on a conversation while going down the highway.
The motor has a very large street port, a hollowed out cat (not my doing), and a cherry bomb/fart can (again, not my doing.)
I have been hunting around random performance sites looking for a system that would be quiet, yet still flow the amount that I need. I have come down to just making my own. Considering that my car would never pass the TX state emissions I'm not even going to try.
Basically, I'm wondering what mufflers and silencers (I'm thinking a 3" system) people have found that work well with the rotaries that could give a "meaty" sound. I'm not looking for the V8 tone but I don't want to sound like a pissed of bumble bee anymore. I also have a GT35R turbo that will be going along with the new system if that helps any.

You know that the car requires a full standalone, fuel system and front mount to run the GT35R, right?
You cannot go wrong with the Racing Beat REVII system. You will need to modify the downpipe to fit the 35R.

My fuel system has been completely redone except for the fuel rails. I cant seem to find any premade ones that dont come in a kit for $600. I already have a FMIC and will be running the tubing for it this weekend. Thank you both for the suggestion!
