Exhaust for 1980?

Anyone know Where I can find a cat and midpipe for my 1980? I already have the muffler.

You could list in the classifieds on this site. I don't think salvage yards are allowed to sell used cats so that's not an option.

I got a cat once for my '88 by ordering from Advance. They sold me everything between the exhaust manifold to the end of the cat. Although the one I ordered from them was a direct fit type unit, it looked like sort of a generic cat with pipes welded on to it. sold my car shortly after putting it on so I don't know how long that unit lasted in the rotary.

Summit racing sells some generic cats pretty cheap if you can get someone to weld up pipes to it for you but here again it is generic and no guarantees if it will hold up long to rotary heat. They're cheap so if you can get the welding done it would be worth a try. If you go to Pettit and look at their high flow cat, it looks like it is just a generic unit with big pipes welded on. So, maybe it would hold up.

try these

try

www.mazdatrix.com
www.autopartswarehouse.com
www.blackdragonauto.com

they are all places I'm looking at for replacing my entire exhaust system, from the headers back. I have already personally ordered from mazdatrix and apw and can vouch for their reliability. The stuff got here really quick too...like in three days for me.
