European vs US models

I'm a new member and proud owner of a fc3s 86 N/A 6 port.
What are the main differences between the EUR model and US model?
All the tips here are concerning US models I suppose?
Can they be applied to my EUR model ?

Euro models have the following major changes, from memory:

-distributor instead of CAS, coil setup like 1st gen RX-7
-thermal reactor exhaust instead of cats
-aux port valves are butterfly valves located in lower intake instead of sleeves in end irons
-ECU similar to North American GSL-SE, fuel only with a seperate box to control ignition cut for thermal reactor

Is the wiring different or similar to GSL-SE?
Couldn't find the connector for idle speed adjusting.
idle speed dances 1k 1.5k rpm prev owner removed air pump thermal reactor exhaust
I going to remove the engine and do a check up.

Can I make 1 port out of secondary and aux ports ?

Sounds like you have a large vacuum leak.

The wiring is similar to the GSL-SE, but not the same. To adjust the idle you need to disconnect the idle valve.

While you could combine the aux and secondary ports, doing so would result in an engine with a powerband above 7000 RPM. Not suitable for anything but racing.

i assumed the powerband would start at the opening time of the aux ports?
can i improve the low mid torque with porting or is a supercharger more adequate ?

what would be the max. possible RPM if I apply indivual coils / spark plug and fine balancing rotors ex shaft counterweights...

is the link G4 capable for indivual coils / spark plug ?

I really would like to go racing...
