Engine Siezed
Whats good? Lets start by saying this site is killer, recently my 87 rx7 engine siezed up, it only had 10,000 kms on it, however it sat for a year before i took it into the shop to have some work done on it, i went to pick it up last week after them telling me it was running and ready to go, until i got there and they said they were backing it out of the shop and clunked and siezed up.. my question is, what needs to be done to unsieze this type of engine? this is a pretty much brand new engine, are there any products that can assist in freeing up the moving parts inside the engine? i read somewhere that ATF somewhat helps.. I could really use some advice here, thank you..

Um, yeah, if it is seized, then it's dead. Sorry.
In extremely rare cases, an engine can lock due to excessive carbon buildup or simply from sitting around. In that case, just getting some lubricants and carb cleaner into it then rocking it over time can loosen it up. But this doesn't happen when the engine is running. If it just seized with a clunk when it is running, it probably lost oil pressure or tossed a seal.

If the shop just rebuilt the motor, there should be no reason that the engine should have seized... unless they did a **** job of course. And how do you know that the engine is seized... Have you tried turning the motor over with a wrench??
