Egt
Anyone got experience with using EGT sensors for tuning a daily driver (3rd gen)? Friend was telling me their some air fuel differences between the front and back that do no show up even with the 02 sensor showing good fuel air ratio.
EGT sensors are useful as an assist for monitoring the engine, but not the first thing to add.
However, a wideband O2 sensor is probably the best single tool for keeping track of engine conditions. You need a wideband because a standard o2 sensor can't provide useful data on the rich side where rotaries need to run.
If you have a stock car, I think boost gauge and water temp gauge are the most important ones.
What are your car's mods? What are your goals?

Wide band went in a couple of years ago. Goal? slight increase in horse power. Just a few additions and modifications. Just got it pinned and waiting on the 3 mil. Every thing else pretty standard for a single conversion. Get the power train in order and play with the rest later. Will experiment with the two egt inputs to control engine temp between the front and rear.
