whats the general consensus on these kits? Anyone have one installed? I just always assume everything from ebay fits like crap and is made from shady materials.

I tried searching around for any info on it...does anyone else feel like the search feature on this site is almost useless? Every time I search something, I get a list of 20+ page build threads...not real helpful.

 

You pretty well summed it up in your first sentence.

You get what you pay for...800 dollars of pure Garbage..
Save your money and piece a decent turbo system together or get a kit from A-Spec or other guys that sell a whole system.That way you know that everything is meant for your car and it will go on and perform with not Problems.

Honestly I got a 500 dollar car,that I put a TII engine in.
The ECU alone is worth 5 X what the car is worth!..
the Turbo is worth 2x what the car is worth.
Mind you I pieced it together But all parts were meant for the car.I had little fabbing to do.(exhaust flange was off angled,downpipe was a bit too long..wooopeee!)

Garbage!A good turbo or manifold alone will cost more than all this junk!

 

I'd looove to hear the horror stories of anyone who has ever attempted to install one of these...I remember when I was 15 and bought a car audio "sound system" off of ebay. Oh man what a waste of money, to this day I've not heard a system that sounded or performed worse. A valuable lesson was learned that day haha
