I am having problems with my s5 and dlidfis . I have a carburetor on this car. I pump the gas twice before starting the car when i turn the car over for a few seconds i get a very loud pop i believe i have the timing right and the wiring with coils and ignition modules anything else that could cause this the gas has been sitting in the car for 2 months the car has been in the garage parked out of the weather any help on this loud popping sound during trying to start the car

 

any ideas i really would like to get this car going and don't wanna blow the engine . I'm thinking that it may due to timing but its a loud pop sounds like a cannon going off when it happens in the engine

 

drained some of the bad gas that was in the line i think i may have a bit to much oil in it cuz boy does she smoke got her to fire up after a couple of turnovers but im a newb when it comes to tuning a carb but i think ill learn i have a friend coming over tomorrow to help me out now that i have it starting up adjust a few things and she'll be road worthy ill post pics when i get the car completed
