I have had my jspec 1990 turbo II for a month now and having alot of fun with it. So down to my problem. It's nothing serious yet but it is a concern of mine.

Only happens after 15+ miles when everything's up to temp
When going slow and only shifting into 1st from a stop, and when slowly shifting into 2nd. I'm hearing and feeling a couple of shuttering thuds which seems to come from the rear end. Also when making slow tight turns the rear end seems almost to lock up you can hear the rear tires chirp a little. I changed the diff fluid yesterday and came out clean. U joints look good. Nothing looks loose, wheel bearings are fine. Has anyone any idea what this could be?

Other than this minor (right now) concern the car is tip top. Tonnes of fun.

 

The thud could be a worn out front diff mount. Not sure about the second part.
