Driving normally like I do every day with the 7 I got home and noticed the alarm (Clifford G5 not sure exact brand) wouldnt turn on so I checked if all the doors were open and nothing. I noticed the dome light stays VERY dimly lit but enough to see that it's on kinda like there's a short somewhere. I checked all the hinges and they're all working properly along with the mini switches that feed info to the alarm on what's open.

Is this a common problem or can this be relay/fuse associated? I dont know where half the fuse boxes are in this car but i couldnt find any fuse for inside lights under the hood. any ideas?
Note: It's not the remote because both of my remotes fail to make anything happen. It's registering exactly as if a door is open but on the remote that shows the pic of the car it doesnt register an open door. weird..
