Doing an engine swap needed some info
Hi there I'm lucas, I own a 1990 Mazda Miata (yes I know not an rx7). I've been doing some research about swaps for the Miata and I came across some build threads of 13b swapped miatas. I wanna buy a built 13b but wasn't sure on route to take. I found this website rx7world.com and was curious if anyone has used this site or heard of it for buying a build 13b motor? I would buy the stage 1 engine as this will be a semi daily driver car. As I am a noob to rotary and swapping post any info you think i should know

find a local shop to buy a rebuilt engine from, will probably run you 2-3k or so
you'll need a custom subframe for the engine or at least custom mounts. ensure the oil pan will clear. not sure the trans size differences, custom trans mounts, custom driveshaft, the rear will probably need to be upgraded for the extra power... an ecu, the list goes on and on. did you google "13b Miata swap" ? im sure you can find some good things with a simple search,, my list is just for starters... there's much much more
You're probably looking at 4-5k or so if you're starting with just a Miata and do the work yourself, if you pay a shop,, I'd say 9-15k
